How is a fan belt pulley best removed from an old water pump?  I have a new replacement water pump that didn't come with a new pulley.  I tried a gear puller but was concerned about bending the old pulley.  I have used a MAPP torch and have it sprayed down with penetrating oil.

If a new pulley if needed, who sells these?  I couldn't find at Steiners, US Ag Parts, or Amazon.

Gerald J. - I looked in the on-line manual but it does not indicate how a rusty pulley can be removed.

I gently tap around the edge perpendicular to the shaft while turning it.  After you get it loose, you'l need to turn it a 1/4 turn to get the adjustment bolts to pass the hub.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

PaulB:  Thanks.  I kept torching, oiling and tapping and it finally came loose.  After the 1/4 turn it was still hanging up, so I cut off the extended stove bolts and punched the heads in.  The part cleaned up real nice with a brass wire wheel.
