| Does anyone know the proper 6V bulb for use in the tail light of a 1947 B? This is the style of tail light that looks like a small tuna fish can with a clear lens on the face and a cutout in the housing with a red lens. Hangs from beneath the rear seat frame. |

I don't know the number but this is a complete one that I had at one time. I was looking to do 6v to 12 v so don't recall if it was the larger or smaller bulb that was in it. If it helps...… ------------- D17 Series 1 Allis B- 1939 Allis B- 1945 |

You're a lucky man Scott. Those red lenses are really hard to come by! I wonder if anyone could make them, in either glass (original) or plastic. I'm trying to get these made with a 3D printer but iI'm not sure of what I'm seeing here. Is that red cylinder have a lip on one end? Looks like the back has a smaller opening. What proveded the seal ( if there was one) I see a gasket for one end ( between the cylinder and the disk?) but waster would get in between the red lens and the can Does anyone have one to measure? thanks Wally
