Looking to by a rebuild kit for a 51 ed. Is there a difference in which brand I get. I've searched this site for help but haven't seen anything besides used parts being talked about. In my area there aren't many ac tractors so I thought I'd save this one from the scrapper. Guys around here haven't been much help for ac tractors. Green and red are not a problem but mention an orange tractor and all the know of is kubota. Lol. |

| Are you absolutely sure your engine has a WD crankshaft (4 inch stroke) or a WD45 crankshaft (4 1/2" stroke) ?? This makes a difference on which motor kit you buy. |

Onalaska Ben, You could try some of the suppliers listed on this site. I know Tony's Tractors and Sandy Lake can get engine kits for WD's. Good luck saving another orange tractor! OK Tractor or DJS Tractor Parts. Like Doc said, make sure you know what crank you've got. Might want to measure the journals and make sure you can get rod and min bearings before you go too far. They don't make as many sizes as they used to. AaronSEIA

| It is a 4" stroke 4" bore when I tore it apart. Crank will grind to .010/.010 and has the smaller main. |

Lot of good Allis guys on here from the NW, between Darryl and Eldon they probably have all the orange in the state of WA, no wonder there is none around. Tony Carbaugh is down in Oregon and is a vendor on this site (Tony's Tractors) and is who I bought the kit for my WD from. Thanks guys. I'm sure there somewhere out there but don't see them alot. I'm newer to the tractor scene. Been a few years since I've been down to Brooks Oregon for the steam up. That's about the closest to me for a big show. I've always had a warm spot for any old piece of iron.
