Hi Looking to buy a NOS or good rebuilt bevel gear box for an allis 916H tractor. Anyone have one for sale? I have put the same ad on Simpletractors website too Thanks, |

You may be able to rebuild yours. Ryan on here just rebuilt his and had a nice pictorial of the box apart and him rebuilding it step by step. Did one for a friend last summer, gears bearings and small parts are over $600 from Simplicity. I found a nice set of used gears, basically all the guts on eBay for $140 shipped and purchased the bearings from a simplicity dealer. Gears are expensive and have been for years. Back in the 70’s we had a B-110 and the gears went out, my dad purchased blank gears from Boston gear and bored and broached the holes for the shafts, very cheap!.... re: gears bearings and small parts are over $600 from Simplicity YIKES , I didn't pay 1/2 that and got a running B-112 with new deck( which I'll never use...) ------------- 3 D-14s,A-C forklift, B-112 Kubota BX23S lil' TOOT( The Other Orange Tractor) Never burn your bridges, unless you can walk on water |
