Good news is my dealer got a hold of good flutes and they bolted up without a problem. I even tightened one up way beyond tight just to see if it would break. I am sure the bolts would break first with these latest flutes. Yes, I used all new hardware once I was sure I had good flutes..

I'm sure AGCO was trying a new vendor (probably China). The newest good ones are not shiny and have a recess for each bolt hole like the originals.

Oh, and CaseIH was having the same trouble with their Earth Metal sweeps. I wonder who makes those?

I just put a set on my 12r30 Hugger from Kooima Co. Did the modification to them. Also installed Calmer Corn Head Deck Plates, new points, chains, sprockets. It made for a noticeable improvement, with less trash intake and far less butt shelling. Good Luck, Mike
