Hello,
I just aquired an AC forklift and I am trying to ideintify the model number and possibly the year. The S/N is 6231-3000. It is propane powered. I would guess about 3000LB. I have attached two photos. Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I have looked around on the internet trying to find info and the FP series seems to be the closest I can find. Do you know what the 30-24 means? Is that related to lifting capacity or physical dimensions??? Thanks again

| No, I don't know what they mean. The 30 may be short for 3000 lbs lift because the 20-24 has a 2000 lbs lift I believe. |

| Thank you, that makes sense. This unit is probably 3000LB at 24 inches. I am thinking now that the "P" in "FP" means pneumatic tires and this might be an F30-24. It has a G153 engine. It runs fine. I will change the oil and air filter and normally I would change plugs, points, power wash, etc, but I am wondering if I should leave well enough alone because parts and manuals are hard to find. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is there a good supplier of tune-up parts for the G153 out there? Thanks! |

It might mean propane also. Who knows?
Yours looks like it has solid rubber tires. I can't count the number of fork lifts AC had that started with F. There were many. |
