Hello,
I just aquired an AC forklift and I am trying to ideintify the model number and possibly the year.  The S/N is 6231-3000.  It is propane powered.  I would guess about 3000LB.  I have attached two photos. Thank you

Looks like it could be an FP 30-24.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your reply.  I have looked around on the internet trying to find info and the FP series seems to be the closest I can find.  Do you know what the 30-24 means?  Is that related to lifting capacity or physical dimensions???  Thanks again

No, I don't know what they mean. The 30 may be short for 3000 lbs lift because the 20-24 has a 2000 lbs lift I believe.

The 24 is the distance at which the load center is calculated. In this case it is 24".

Thank you, that makes sense.  This unit is probably 3000LB at 24 inches.  I am thinking now that the "P" in "FP" means pneumatic tires and this might be an F30-24.  It has a G153 engine.  It runs fine.  I will change the oil and air filter and normally I would change plugs, points, power wash, etc, but I am wondering if I should leave well enough alone because parts and manuals are hard to find.  Anyone have any thoughts on this?  Is there a good supplier of tune-up parts for the G153 out there?  Thanks!

It might mean propane also. Who knows?
Yours looks like it has solid rubber tires.
I can't count the number of fork lifts AC had that started with F.
There were many.
