I recently acquired an early model TL 12. There is no choke on the carburetor. The holes for the shaft have plugs in them. Is this normal, or has someone done some modifications to it? Kind of wondering how it will be to start in the winter? ------------- Looking at the past to see the future. '53 WD, '53 WD45, WD snap coupler field cultivator, #53 plow,'53 HD5B dozer Duct tape.... Can't fix stupidity. But will muffle the sound of it! |

| I don't know on a TL12 but some others of that style and vintage had a choke rod, or cable, in the wall behind and to the side of the seat or in the panel below the front of the seat. |

i would need to go take a look at mine to be sure, because i didnt use it much before pulling the engine but im pretty sure the choke cable is located directly under the operator on the rh side above the brake lock. ------------- Me -C,U,UC,WC,WD45,190XT,TL-12,145T,HD6G,HD16,HD20 Dad- WD, D17D, D19D, RT100A, 7020, 7080,7580, 2-8550's, 2-S77, HD15 |
