Batteries would have nothing to do with fuel supply......unless, you're having trouble starting, and your batteries are such that you aren't spinning the motor over very fast might seem like a fuel issue.

The only way it could would be if it has the electric fuel pump. Easy to tell, open the bleed at the filter and turn on the key. Most fuel issues are related to filters, fuel line blockage, injectors or injector pump problems.

They used to make 2 different fuel filters for those. One is a 5 micron filter the other is a 10 micron filter. After a while it is harder to push fuel thru the 5 micron filters. They plug easier. I always put 10 micron on in the winter. Fuel flowed thru them a little easier. We rented a 7080 after it had been running a hay grinder for 2 solid weeks. The fuel tanks were full of rotten hay dust, we had to pull the air filter with a crow bar and chain. It had the small fuel cross over hose between the fuel tanks. It was plugged with rotten hay. I'll bet we put 10 filters on it before we got everything cleaned/ blew out.      Good luck with yours.

Tom, if you rented it, I probably would've taken it back.
Was it running bad when you got it? What led you to discover all that on a rental tractor?
