I was able to purchase my dream tractor , An Allis G, but I am not certain what year it is. The serial number is 123560. I'm guessing 1948, but I am just wanting conformation. ( Sorry about the sideways picture, Can not figure out how to turn it)

123560 can't be the tractor number. They only went to about 30,000.
Tractor number is stamped next to the gear shift lever and should start with G.

Hey, Thank You. I will go out and look at it again. I did look there when I bought it and I swore that was what it said. I must have wrote something down wrong.

Photo shop and imitations can rotate photos.

The shop manual I have for the G doesn't show much for changes over time:

The operator's manual probably is the same but useful:

And the implement manuals sure to be useful:

re: sideways pictures...
find the 'lock orientation' on your 'smart' device and enable it. That way pictures will be 'normal', not side ways or worse, upside down.

I believe that makes it a 1950 ( http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/0/0/6-allis-chalmers-g.html" rel="nofollow - http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/0/0/6-allis-chalmers-g.html )

The serial number reference on this forum also puts it at 1950.
