After baling hay. I checked the dipstick under the seat. The oil was barely on the dipstick. It took almost 2 gallons to bring it to the full mark.

I don’t remember the last time I checked the dipstick. Never had a problem so didn’t check it. My bad. I know I checked at least in May.

There is no oil on the concrete floor. The underside of the tractor is dry. No obvious leaks.

I remember reading how oil can transfer to the rear end if a seal has gone bad. I have not yet drained and measured the rear end. The top sight glass is full. Is this seal I seem to remember in the transmission or would it be separating the oil pumps?

Any help is appreciated.

Most times it is the seal in pump or seal on shaft that drives the pump. I always replace both.       MACK
