I was curious to see what you guys recommend for wiper blades. I have a '95 F150 and a '07 Chevy Malibu. I usually run Rainex blades but they seem to not last long. Also tried some Amco blades on the truck that were supposed to stay pliable in the winter and come summer they are junk. I live in Ohio so heat, sun , rain, cold, ice, snow (sometimes same day it seems lol)

non of them last very long anymore, they are designed that way. just buy a cheaper blade and try to keep them out of the sun. the sun is what kills them. usually hafta replace 2 times a year on about anything. BIL told me he really wiped down the blades with the Rain-X, Rain-X eats rubber! I use Rain-X on my vehicle windows but i'm careful not to let the liquid touch the wiper blades when i'm putting it on the windshield!

Wonder if one could buy the blades OEM like came on the vehicle. Our 15 Toyota and 12 F250 still have the originals on them. Both are garage kept though.

What ever brand of wiper you buy,,DO NOT buy NAPA cheap wipers , they are made in Viet Nam. I bought one pair and when I was opening the package I saw they were made in VN. Never again will I buy those.

Might try some bosch ones, or see if i can find motorcraft. Might just be the new reality that they only last 6 months. Maybe buy winter blades and summer blades and see if rotating them make them last longer.

and in winter, pull them off the windshield as they will freeze on and then lose their edge when you turn them on when frozen down.

Any time I make an order to Rock Auto I check for close out wiper blades for the vehicles, usually get a set for 2 to 5 bucks each except for the Enclave which are a different animal.

For years I got a winter blade that was completely covered by rubber, do not remember the brand. I loved them and I bought one blade, put it on the driver`s side and moved the used one to the passenger side. Done that for years. Last fall I go down to buy my one blade and they are no longer available. Can`t find them this year either.

Trico and Anco both still make winter blades. They are out there just not available at Harbor Freight and other Chinese outlets. Anco blades are mostly made in Mexico some Trico blades are still made in the good OLE U.S.A.!!!! 99% of Bosch blades made in China!!!
