Why waste the time, money and effort on a 5.9 Cummins. That would be a lateral movement. Put a 466 in it just like he has or an 8.3 Cummins.

Option #2 would be find a club that has a reasonable rule set.

Allis made a 426 That can be made to put in a 200. I have beat 466s with a 301 in 966 and 666 chassis

359 vs 466 aren't good odds. Would at least bore and stroke a 5.9

Was just thinking a 466 or 426 would be heavy in front in a 7000lb class. Rules pretty open. Maybe a set of compounds on the 301 get in ball park. Need to run road gear.

6 one half dozen other
Going to spend money to make a 301 run
Or buy a motor and spend time and money making it run in that chassis
I wouldn’t think Road gear in a 200 shouldn’t be that hard to do with a 301 and twins and a intercooler even a single and cooler

At 7000lbs it’s 100% doable with a 426

Aluminum will be your best friend
