Was this purchased from a vendor or built in your shop? I only ask because the F2 that we run has cracks along the "walker" end of the false bottom and I'm unsure of how much time/acres are left Confused

On my previous A2 and now on this F2 I had the false bottoms out and had the welding shop fabricate new ends. Seems most wear is where the chain makes the turn. Better to fix before it catches slats and wrecks something. Not hard job, just takes time. Easier with the walkers out.

Ithaca Manufacturing Company in Ithaca Michigan fabricated the individual parts for the false bottom and I welded them together.
The old bottom was worn through where the chain ran.

Thanks for the info. I did a google search of the part # for an F2 and came up empty. I will look into our local shop as far as re-making the original.
