Heard these can be refaced?( How can you verify they are going to work if they just need to be refaced)?
Or is it not worth messing around with and just buy new? thanks Matt

You can get them refaced but it is cheaper to get new ones except the traction booster. My experience with the cheaper imported guages was very poor. Temp worked for a week and quit, amp guage quit the first time I turned the lights on with engine not running and the oil pres filled with oil. Pay the price and get the good replacement guages from the Phouts(spelling?) that took over Norm Minert's parts buisiness

I've already ordered ones that are AC brand, but need traction booster and another one
I'm hoping when I direct replace all them they just work and it isn't another problem making them not working...

Unless you are actually going to do some moldboard plowing with a mounted plow, the Traction Booster gauge serves no real purpose other than filling the hole in the instrument panel.

I do plan on it
Have a sc 3 bottom plow
Do these plows require a disk after to smooth out the ground to plant?

Plowed ground will need to be worked down by some method before fit to plant. Fresh plowed is fluffy. Fall plowed is settled by winter weather but still requires working.

The TB gauge is not absolutely necessary even if using a mounted plow.

After some experimenting with The TB setting, you'll find a good position to keep the plow in the ground and still afford some "traction boosting"

Too much and the plow won't go very deep. Too little and the tractor may struggle.
