Same field, same wife, two different years.  What a difference late planting due to too wet soils and then no rain for five weeks in July/August!

8/10/13 Beans are well over 4' tall.  Those beans made 62 bu/acre.


8/10/19 Beans are only a little over 2' tall


Will hopefully get some rain today/tonight.

I suspect bean harvest this year will be miserably LOW.

Some of the corn fields around here are sickening to look at some short others spots look ok and then a wet spot knee high

all the crops look spotty good and bad all over around here. gonna be intesting on yields this year! Brian...I thinks your lovely bride will be happy whatever the yield is, I like her smile in both pics!

If you go 50 miles north or south, you'll run into better crops.  Guess it's just our turn this year.

You need to keep that beautiful lady smiling, you might be in big trouble if you don't. Spotty crops around here this year, some areas doing great, some not so good. Renter will only get two cuttings of hay off my ground this year.

Our beans around here never seem to get much taller than 2 ft., if they do they seem to just get brushy and yield less.
