We were delivering honey and other products to the Iowa State Fair today. We delievered to the Iowa Honey Producers booth. It was above the butter cow. The butter cow looks like a Jersey cow this year. They have several Sesame Street caracters in there too. I was interviewed by IPTV while I was there. They asked me about honey bees. It was a short interview. I can't imagine why they want my mug on TV. I think they were filling time waiting on the Iowa Honey Queen to arrive. They spent quite a bit of time speaking with her. I was impressed with the guy doing the interview. He knew quite a bit about bees.

Wink Must be a real sweet thing to be Honey Queen.   So must take more then a pink thong Wink even with the Mystery Man in them to take air time away. LOL

But I expect Shameless is worried about us lesser Wink people also becoming on air people.  So welcome those select few of us that have had are mug on TV. I was so important that the host gal just sent a flunky  and a camera, I answered question about a old one room school house restoration. She got added without leaving the studio.LOL

So Tom I hope Wink you said the right thing to keep in the good graces of you boss at the market.LOL

Dog gone it, didn't make the show. But they did put on a good show. Always a good show when they promote bees. I don't have to work at the fair this year. Old gal volunteered us to work this comming sunday, but grandson is going instead. They are selling all my stuff at the consignment auction this coming sunday at noon. Sad to see it go but glad to see it go. Most of the stuff is from the 60's and 1970's. I don't expect to be in a higher tax bracket next year. On a positive note. I wasn't sure my 96 year old mom could get into my new pickup. I had to take down today. I had the dealer put steps on it and she had no problem getting in. + According to the lights on the dash the darn thing was getting 23.9 mph. Gotta figure the actual mileage. Got it wrote down in the truck. Hoping it does better on the interstate. 3 hours of driving and my darn old back is not hurting. In a leaving that pashonate pink things to the guys west of the river

I think you're safe Tom, you didn't say WHICH river.........
My BIL has 2 bee nests.  He got a lot of honey last year (his first) and is hoping to do better this year.  It's amazing to watch them.
