I have a Unstyled WC that needs to go on a diet. I'm barely making 3000lb class with it right now on 28's, looking to jump up to 38's in the near future. Any ideas would be appreciated. Would switching to the war time rear housing help any? If so bout how much would I loose. Thanks

I see lots of WCs in the 3000 pound class with weight to spare. I even pulled against an unstyled one regularly at 2750. Maybe the biggest weight problem is in the seat.

Funny guy you are Paul B, I'm working on that too. There's guys my size running Oliver 66's and farmall super C's with 300 or more pounds on them with 38's and just was wondering what you all might be doing besides replacing steel with aluminum. Would be interested in buying a set of rear 38's if anyone has a set they would like to sell. Thanks

What have you stripped off for weight now? What rear rims are you using? I know one of the narrow front pedestals was significantly lighter than the others, but I can't remember which one.

It's an early 34 so pretty sure it's got the light weight front end as far as rear wheels they are farmall F series centers welded into flat rims with 13.6 28 Firestone SAT 2's. PTO deleted. Still running factory hitch. Would like to change it and modify the brakes to something better
