How far open can I have the bin auger shields or the (adjustable guards) in a R-50 combining wheat, soys & corn without putting too much stress on either auger and or plugging them, Thanks Dave

wet grain will not flow very well I would not open it up to much beside it will only take a few more minutes to unload it with the shields open just a little

Don't know and nothing in my F2 manual giving advice. Just says you can adjust them. Can't be a one size answer and probably the reason nothing said. Experiment.Go in small increments and cross your fingers.

what I would do is adjust so auger is 1/2 at 1/2 throttle  I think 1/5 inch opening at bottom
