Hi I found something interesting when I was cleaning up the wheels on my English assembled B for painting in stencil lettering GROSS 297 LBS
              DIM 9x40x40
              CUFT 6FT 4INS
No 1143
M.O.A 4892
LYTTLETON
I know LYTTLETON is the port the tractor was shipped to and it was sold by Andrew & Beven Christchurch but as for the rest I have no clue hope someone can shed some light to what it means
Thanks

All I can tell you about the above, is that it doesn't add up if the first line is meant to be inches. Those dimensions add up to 8.333 cubic feet.

That size crate might hold 2 front and 2 rear wheels though and 297 lb could be the total weight of of the crate.

A better idea, is that the 4 wheels, were banded together, forming a diamond shape. That would account for the stenciling on the wheel and the diamond shape might account for the 6 CuFt in area?
