When I restored my 190XT last year, I put new tie rods on both sides (chinese aftermarket I suspect).  When turning sharp left turns, the tie rod end would slide in the tube even though the clamp was as tight as it could go.
Played around with it this past weekend and I started by centering the front plate. Now both sides will slide when making their respective turns.  I ground a bit of metal out of the clamp to get them to close tighter, but they still slide.

I am at a loss here.  I am getting tired of having to keep resetting the front wheel toe in.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can`t remember.  I think I got them from my local AGCO dealer.

Keep the clamps from old tie rods and put on new. New are junk.     MACK

I installed a new pair on my WD last year. I am pretty sure they were Chinese. Really good price. They looked just as good as the the originals, but the split in the female ends were not wide enough. A cutting disc in my right angle grinder took care of that issue in a hurry. Hope this helps.
