OK guys I was hoping the fan pulley and the alternator on the 3500
would interchange to the 3700 but it appears they won't.
There wasn't a fan or alternator on the 3700 when I got so I was
hoping things would swap.
So now I'm assuming I will need a fan and pulley and alternator
for the 3700 to line things up for the belts.

Yes the belts are wider on the newer series engine rightly so they are needed. Your assumptions are correct.

Well today I did a lot of looking and figuring.
The exhaust manifold on the irrigation motor I bought is cracked in the middle section so I took the whole manifold off.
I have a manifold for a 7045 I think it is that I bought a long time ago so I could use a schwitzer turbo instead of the air research but that didn't pan out either so I used the 210 manifold and made an adapter piece to use the schwitzer turbo.
I used the manifold off the 210 engine which already had the schwitzer on it so I have the turbo on now and oil lines on which I also had to have made since the original oil lines would no longer work.

I still have to get an alternator that will line up and probably a fan and fan pulley also to get things right on the front.

Still have a lot to do but overall I think things are coming along ok.

OH yeah, might be helpful if someone with a 3700 engine could send me the number off of the alternator maybe make it easier for me to find one.

Thanks.

3700 engine or not, the alternator is configured to the chassis the engine is installed in.
