Yesterday I purchased a loader from a member of this site, Rog NCWI, who lives just a few miles away :) Its a Henderson loader serial number "8" or "B" (hard to tell...if it's "B" that is stamped backwards and twice on top of itself). It appears all factory. Has some stenciling that says "allis ca" on the tube frame. The Henderson dark reddish paint looks original too. Has the manure bucket and a factory snow plow/grader blade. Roger never got around to mounting it on his CA. Guy he bought it from years ago had it mounted on his CA though. Every thing appears to be there: brackets that go from bell housing to attachment points under radiator, hydraulic cylinders, other framework that goes over the top (I think), etc. Only thing we know it's missing is the trip lever handle. May be some other stuff though. Not sure. Looking for more info you all may have on the CA specific Henderson loader. Only can find mention that one was made for the CA. Not much else out there. Wondering if there are provisions/brackets that go back to the final drives or if these Henderson's had all the weight on the mounting bracket from bell housing to under radiator mount point? When I get things out of the trailer and laid out nicely I'll post some pics. :) Thanks! |

Finally got around to unloading the loader from the trailer and laid out nice for some pics. Won't be mounting it till I get some new hoses made up. All the weight will be on the bell housing and front attaching point under the radiator. Not sure how much I care for that...Will just have to be careful how I use it. For snow removal and the light work it was designed for it'll be alright I think.

Anyone have a Henderson for their CA? Seems they are somewhat common for B's which then have to use an auxiliary pto mounted pump for the rams. The CA has a hydraulic auxiliary port behind the seat which Roger said is where this was hooked up from the guy he bought it from. Will I have any issues to watch out for with pressure when it does get hooked up? Thanks |

| I have one I took off a CA that I never re mounted on anything. It does not have the round pipe frame though. I was going to mount it on one of my B's I think mine mounted on the foot bar rather than the bell housing. Not sure of that until I look again. I have it scattered all over now. I don't have the bucket. |

I have a Henderson on my B. Works great. Has the reservoir mounted under the seat. Mine is a square tube design and it mounts to the foot bar as Dick mentioned. A little tough to steer with the extra weight, but I always make sure the Tractor is moving when turning the steering wheel. I use it for moving the compose pile back and using it as a mobile engine crane. Picks a lot of stuff up! Yeah Steve this thing will also be on compost duty. That and re-heaping the kids sand pile :) Its main job will be snow removal though. Sure will find other good uses too! Never had a loader of my own to play with. Excited to have another option to a shovel! Dick, do you remember what setting you had your hydraulic pump set at? The ca manual shows 3 options. "Delayed lift", "hold position", and "draw bar control". I'm thinking "hold" is the one for the loader as it's the only one that mentions a "remote ram". Obviously not "delayed lift". Will my tractors rams also move up and down at the same time as the loaders rams? It would be nice to have the back blade on too for weight and more snow removal options come winter. Do I need to put in some sort of diverter valve in order to use that as well? Wish I had a CA specific manual for this loader if one exists! |

I have 2 Allis built trip bucket loaders that fit a CA for sale if anyone is looking. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |
