D17 Series 3 is getting rainwater in the transmission.  Thought I had this fixed when I replaced the shift lever boot.  Fills to the point that it leaks out past the rock shaft seals.  All my manuals are in storage so I need help.  What are all the places water could get in?  Boot, breather, shift cover gasket, rock shaft seals?

Breather and the gear shift boot are the only places where water could possibly get in.  Are you sure it's water?  Very common to have hydraulic oil migrate into the transmission through the input shaft seals.
Best way to keep water out is to park her under a roof.

I was hoping you would reply.  It's water, oil is milky white.  But since I posted I remembered that when I bought the tractor I noticed that someone had R&Rd the rockshaft housing and that here was ugly silicone smeared around the joint.  May have answered my own question.
