OH,,my OH my,,,Thad,,,,,LaJunta, ,Colo,,,I gots some memories bout thet place,,,,,,  That right there is the only'ist place I ever spent a night in jail,,,,,,,,, They put me and the dang guy that started all the rukuss down at the bar,,,in one of the upstairs cells and that was so friggin unreal cause there wasn't no bars on the windows fact is there wasn't any windows at all,,,the sherrif figured if you want to take a chance on breaking your neck by jumping out the window,,,just go for it,,,,,,, Neither one of us wanted to jump We left the next morning headed for Nort Dakota, and drove past ole Darrel's place so fast ,,the wife was so dang mad,,,,,,  Check out if Church's Pub is still at the corner of main St and ,,,,something,,,I'm out of here,,,, Have a safe trip and if you see Mr Church,,,tell him I said Hi,,,,,, Say,,,your Dad ain't got any Massey Ferguson parts does he,,,???

Well, I'm not worried. Heck, one of your shareholders lives a few miles away and I'm still doing ok. Besides, the closest he will be is Monument, over a hour away on a good driving day, and there are few good driving days here anymore. Today is the first day this week that the sun is out, been dreary and damp since Monday. Looked at the long range forecast, today is the only day between now and June 6th with no chance of rain, some days 10%, many 40% or more, looks like haying season is going to be "difficult" this year! ------------- "If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer" Allis Express participant |

| We’ve been having a great time. We went to the graduation Friday morning and spent the afternoon with Jens sister and family. We left there and went to my Dads farm in LaJunta and spent yesterday at the tractor salvage. Left late yesterday afternoon to go to my brothers in Arapahoe. We’re having a good time here reminiscing old times. Going out to the farm my family owned today and the farm Jens family farmed. |
