| took my big boy truck out of winter storage and boy...does it smell musty in the caB! WHEW! and I think there might be sum mouse pee included in there! I started to clean the interior and wanna get sum rain-x on the winders. did ya'll know that window cleaner...the kind in the spray cans that foams up is a great cloth seat cleaner! my seats look new again! gonna try it on the carpet too. and it's cheaper than the stuff marked for it. them $&#@&$(&$ little critters chewed a hold thru my orange spectacular t shirt I bought at hutch! pfffft! a little febreeze and it's smelling better inside! can't even smell my farts in the seats no more! |

| oh...and I took the truck to coffee the other morning, sure was happy to be back in that truck again...that's when I found out I had no brakes!!!! thank God for a stick shift tranny! got to coffee, and made it back home just fine! saw sum drips out of the line on top of the rear end. i'll prolly just go ahead and replace all the lines. it's a 22 year old truck (that I still love), had a lifetime alternator go out of it last year, that still needs replacing. one of these days! |

Hey Good Buddy,,,good to hear from you,,,,,,  Chit,,,22 years ,,,thats just barely gettin broke in my parts of the world,,,, Seen on the weather where they had a Tornado warnin west of your area,,,,,,Ya gots you a underground shelter don't you,,????? Back when we used to travel up to Nort Dakota bout every other yearmmmwe seemed to always run into them dang things,,,startin from North Platte to Valentine,,,, Some of the worst nights we had were in Valentine, Ne and Scotts City and Garden City, ks. I'd have to have a shelyer was I to want to live in that country,,,,,,PFFftfrttttt

Hell Fire,,Shameless,,,NO,,and I mean NO sense of adventure with them things for this ole desert boy,,,,,,,Fact is,,,in 1979, we had just bought a brand new (Gasp) Ford LTD in the prettiest metallic green you ever saw,,,, A couple of months later we get word that her step father had passed away up in Nort Dakota,,so there we go,,car had bout 500 miles when we left Artesia,,,, On the way back home,,,we get caught up in one Tornado WARNING after another,,,Chit and more chit,,,,we finally get to Scots City, Ks bout 9 PM and get a motel room. No more than 15 mins later the friggin sirens go off all over town and I mean ALL OVER,,,chit,,I thought them roooskiys had done came into town,,,,, Bout that time the biggest hail I ever seen starts comin down and,,,,and,,,that brand new car is no more,,I run out with a blanket to cover the car but I got hit on my arm by one of them hail stones and I knew it was everybody to their selves,,,,  I call room service and ask what to do, and the woman tells me to put one mattress on floor of bathroom and cover with the other mattress,,,,We just bout got under the mattress when the sirens stop,,,,,Call room service and they tell me they have not spotted the tornado in the last 15 minutes,,,so back go the mettress,,,,THEN there go the sirens again SO,,,back to the bathroom we go....I think we did that all night long,,,shore was glad to get back to the desert country next day,,,,,

| I hear ya loud and clear there Joe. Nothing freaks me out like a thunderstorm with tornado warnings involved. We haven't had a lot of them in our area, but I sure ain't going looking for one. I'd take anything that ole Shameless machine can dish out over a tornado. Which, by the way, Shameless is sending a little pretty my way as I type. Could get up to 6 inches, they say, Darrel |

Not the first time he has been in my store but you get a creepy feeling. |
