Got 5 cents a pound for it. Made sure I pulled the Battery cables off it before loading. I had no clue this piece of iron weighed a half a ton.  50 bucks was worth the trouble to haul it off.
Trans and Transfer Case went on a load of long iron yesterday.

I had a tire service truck with 1of those under the hood. Replaced it with a ford rebuilt. Replaced the tyranny several times, replaced a dozen starters, several torque converters.   Got rid of it and bought a gas unit.

I had an 86 f250 with a 6.9 and my biggest problem wasn't the engine but the transmission. It was a c6 auto which is a very stout trans. The problem is they use vacuum to shift and the injector pump had a vacuum regulator on the side and they're no longer available expect for from the junk yard and that's a huge crap shoot. If it had a zf5 I'd still have it
