All,

Bought two of these, this one with one tank and another about 2 feet taller with two tanks, a big tank and a smaller tank under it.

My plan is to paint them up and use them with my tractors and a potential building in the future.

Can't seem to find the right name for them and would like pics of either fuel company names or tractor logos to put on them.

For display only as no fuel will go in them as that would probably require a spill plan and permit(s) etc..  LOL

Thanks,

Carl

Picture looks like a 300 gallon tank on a stand. I sold dozens of them in the 1970's. That stand looks like it has a bent leg, bottom left corner. If it is bent, don't fill it.

Yep, that one has a bent brace also.  They will not be filled.  The one in the picture has square head bolts, so that might date it a little, the other one has six sided bolts, etc.

Like I said, around here, you probably would need a spill mitigation plan, etc.  So, no fill.

On of my neighbors has one, but he will not let it go,,, yet, haha.  His has three small barrels under a big tank, and they set perpendicular to the big tank.

Thanks,

Carl

You might want to anchor it down. They have been known to blow over sitting empty. Around here you don't need containment untill you get over 1500 gallons. Now that rule was 30+ years ago and may have changed over the years.

fill it with water after you put it where it'll be seen by everyone, then you can see who is honest and who ain't! ;ast one of that style tank I bought on an auction for a dollar, cut it around the middle and used it for 2 burning barrels. cur the stand down and use it for a lumber holder.
