School me on for rates please. Got a Kubota L4310 and need to add a 3rd function to the loader. Looked into a new joystick valve with a grapple function but there's not enough room to mount it. Now I'm looking at a multiplier. The tractor hydraulic pump flows 7.8 GPM. The multiplier comes in 6gpm or 15gpm but there's a pretty significant price difference. Now correct me if I'm wrong but if I went with the 6gpm multiplier, the hydraulics would be a little slower but it shouldn't hurt anything in the multiplier correct? I need the third function for a bale grapple and for me I'm ok with the hydraulics being a little slower as long as it works

That will be 7.8 gpm at rated engine speed. How often are you going to use the functions that use the valve when at rated speed?

Never at rated speed. Probably half rated speed maybe a little more. So I'm guessing what you're saying is 8gpm at half rated speed would be 4gpm?

Somewhere in there. You should be safe and the way you would plumb it in it should be protected by the relief in the main valve for the short time you would be using it

Son uses a electric valve as a diverter valve in one of the function valves now on tractors to run aux function . Seems many units (skid loaders) do not have the 3rd valve for a grapple function so split the bucket tilt supply to open and close grapple . Uses it on utility trctors also when people do not want to buy a 3rd valve add on

That's the route I'm going to. Just have to find a place to mount the block where it won't be in the way
