| Guy i know bought a WD45. Then bought i think 8 ft pull type disc. He asked me what cylinder he should get to lift the disc i said that i didn't know exactly what to get but did tell him its a high psi low flow system. So the question is what cylinder will work the best for it. Just the factory outlet on the back of tractor. Thanks |

| Get a 2 inch if you can. Bigger cylinders are too slow. I have used a multitude of cylinders behind many different WD's and 45's and never had problems. Other people have, I haven't. |

1.5 or 2" would be good. They do make 3,500 psi or so, so make sure it's a good cylinder and hose. I've stroked them out before and never blown one up, but...it could happen with a cheap setup. AaronSEIA

| 2 inch diameter is about as big as you'll want or need. If you don't let the cylinder get 100% stroked out and let the pump hammer on it, you'll never reach 3400 psi, so no problems. |

Did AC tractors come with a remote cylinder or did they have to be purchased separate? The D15 I found had one, but not sure of it's origin. Out of all the comments and references to AC equipment, the original AC cylinders designed for the higher psi are rarely, if ever mentioned, and to my recollection, rarely seen. I would think folks would be after those. As a kid growing up, all our tractors......different color.....came with a cylinder and cast iron hanger bracket on the back to carry it with you at all times. For the first decade or so, we only used that one cylinder. Change from a disc to a planter and you took the cylinder off and kept it with you. Later on, as equipment got bigger, each piece of equipment came with it's own dedicated cylinders. More convenient, but also more expensive way to go.
