Dad is in the hospital. Has pneumonia and is weak. He will be 90 in May. Pray he gets well enough to go home and enjoy his time here. It is the hardest thing I have ever done to see him wither away. I know he is not long for this world, but I pray it will be peaceful. He is spoke for, and lived a good life. Tracy

Prayers for your Dad and you also. Praying that he will have a quick recovery and be able to spend time with his family. Just keep in mind that since he knows our Lord and Savior he is a winner either way. It is hard to see a loved one go through something like this and not be able to fix it but we just have to put it in God's hands and pray that His perfect will be done.

Tuesday Night update! Dad was really doing well this morning, then later has took a turn for the worse. I pray he can get better for Mom to see him. She is not feeling well herself now. I know she has been trying to take care of them both. I know the look my Dad gave me tonight , he knows what is coming. Doesn't make it any easier. I pray the Lord's will to be done. Pray for Dad, we all can sure use it! God Bless, Tracy

Update on Dad. He is not doing well at all. Seems like his body is trying to give up. Last night was the roughest night I have ever had. Seeing him suffer is terrible hard on me. He said last night he saw Paradise! I am sure he had a glimpse, he has fought the good fight. Pray that he can have peace , we will surely miss him. He has had a great run! Thanks for your prayers, Tracy

That's tough to live through Tracy. Yet, it seems he has progressed to the state that God is calling him home. He will then be done with all suffering and pain and be happy once again. It will remain rough for those still here but time and God's mercy will bring on the celebration of his life. Personally, I look to the end of life as the beginning of life as I will be whole, complete without pain or disease and will be with God in heaven. It just can't get any better than that. Prayers continuing. God Bless.

Today was a hard day, buried Dad today. It was a wonderful celebration of his life. He was 24 days shy of his 90th birthday. Our extended family is 58 people. I know he would of been so proud of his service, us 8 sons and our BIL were pall bearers. Got choked up many times and cried much. I think about 600 people signed the registry. Going to miss my Dad, but he is dancing with Jesus! We will meet again someday!   Thanks so much for the prayers and kind words, they were greatly appreciated! Please pray for my family in the days ahead! Thanks Tracy

Tracy, it is very hard to let go of someone you love, specially when they have been there all your life. Sounds like your father was a blessed man too...  My father left this world on Sept 16th of 2000 early in the morning... and there isn't a day that goes by I don't think of him some how, or some way.  Or for that fact, my mother departed from us less one day short of 10 years in Sept. 15 2010 at 12:30pm...about the time Paul Harvey would be coming on the radio. She always liked to arrive a little earlier at the festivities to help prepare. Smile We still miss them. But that is good too, because it shows how ingrained they were in your heart. ...
As my uncle had said one time about when both parents are gone, "we are now the next generation to wait our turn."
May the Blessings of the Lord of Peace and comfort be with you and all of your family
in the days ahead.
