Hey guys,
I have been approached about selling an item I have aquired, and figured I would ask someone in the industry that would be a little more in tune with its value on what I should ask.
Its a DS tester, commonly used for DS4 pumps on GM 6.5L diesel applications.
Also, before I get rid of it, were there many 6 cylinder industrial applications for the DS pumps? I have a wild hair to strap one to an Allis. ;)
Here is a pic of the stand:

Not really a whole lot of value to it unless someone has the test stands to hook the pump to. There's a lot of those blue boxes out there for sale, since so many small pump shops are closing due to the older guys running them retiring, and the manufacturers putting more demands on the smaller authorized locations. It doesn't look like the cartridge is in the scan tool. That unit is only for DS pumps used only on 6.5L GM engines from 94 and up in GM pickups, and later on in HumVee's. The 6 cylinder electronic pump from Stanadyne is the DE, and it takes a different unit. I would never want to replace a fully mechanical fuel injection pump with an electronically controlled pump, ever. Those aren't common rail systems you may be thinking about the tunability.

So if I can get over 500 dollars I will be doing good?
the interested party is a 6.5L diesel tuner and aftermarket parts supplier, so he can definitely put it to use.
