Son is back in the states,Texas to be exact. Getting home from Afghanistan.   He said "I'm sure tired of eating whale bacon". Now guys I wanna see that young feller get that on his grill. He said whale and goat bacon was a favorite over there. I gots no idea how you get bacon from a tough old goat. Although I know we had grass fed goat when we were in Laredo Texas at the Uniroyal Tire testing facilities. Guys a lots Ketsup and honey flavored BBQ got it down. Nothing like corn fed beef finished out to 12 or 1300lbs.

Glad your son is back in the states and out of that sandbox. Never heard of whale bacon or goat bacon. Now BBQ goat is good if the goat is handled properly when butchered and not dried out when cooking.
