Welcome to Spring in the Midwest Great Lakes. Its been in the 40's and that means beginning to get back to putting my HD16DC back to together.
Some pics. After a long amount of time and effort to get my left side track adjuster and yoke off I was able to get er done this past weekend. Had to use a 20ton porta power to push against the housing of the track release housing and the yoke to move it forward to tighten the tracks to the tightest level. Then let off the pressure to work the yoke out of its place to remove. Couldn't get the track slide to allow the yoke and adjustment rod to move for month or so. Kept the pressure on it, let it sit moved blade up and down to break loose. Didn't break loose till this weekend. A loud metal pop and the track tightened right up. Took off the grease fitting and used a jack to again push the adjuster back in and it cleared by about a 1/2" to allow me to pull the entire assembly out. Will clean up, replace the seal and paid and reinstall.
Some of my bits and pieces that have been cleaned up and painted and ready to mount. Also the air cleaner cleaned up great. In the pick it looks like it does not match the other parts but its just the light. It is all the same color. An Ac approved color from Van Sickle called AC Yellow CML3016-0. Its a light yellow that matches what I had scanned. Not even to a Cat Yellow and I like this color quite a bit.

Good work! A couple hundred more hours and it'll be ready to go...

Hahahaha I sure hope not John. Problem is I work gull time and travel quite a bit for my work. If I’m lucky, I get a few hours on the weekend to work on her. It’s all cosmetic at this point as she runs strong I get her out and work her with confidence.
Chasing down a couple of leaks the most aggravating being the right side final drive. Left side track adjuster will be repaired this weekend, blasted, primed and painted and put back on.
Gauges, wiring and lights all repaired and working great. Just needing warm and dry weather to put hood, straps, battery boxes and floor plates back on. All are painted and ready for decals.
Now that I mentioned all this, it might be 200 more hours. Lolol
