I was watching the US farm report and they were talking about sorghum harvest. What do they use Sorghum seed for. They were cutting some that looked good and healthy using a corn head and then cutting some that didn’t look too good with a wheat head.
And what’s the difference between Sorghum and milo?

Thank you. We grew Milo when I was a kid but cut it for hay or silage. I do remember dad harvesting Milo for a neighbor. It was some itchy stuff. What do they do with the seed?

We used to grind it for hog feed

Yes I do see a lot of it in chicken scratch as well.
