Our's is lower than normal. I knew it was running a lot. The cook stove don't use much, but the ole 90+ furnace does!

I just checked mine a few minutes ago. The 500 gallon tank is at 24% and they don't want to come till it's below 20%. It was at 40% back in October, or whenever it was I looked at it last. I guess that means I burned about 80 gallon so far, along with maybe 80+ bushel of corn.

HA!! You guys don't know what cold is!! 500 gal tank was at 85% the first part of Dec and it's down to less than 30%. We get to order anytime, but it must be at least 100 gals. They'll be here Tuesdsay. Gal told me it was gonna be $1.79 per. SHEESH!!

We KNOW cold here Ted. Set a new State record just up the road from Don Slick with -38*F with the last cold snap. My Accurite indoor outdoor only showed -31 but it never has worked worth a hoot. It sure is nice that I have a corn burner and don't have to go outside to replenish my supply.

None too happy with my woodstove troubles of late......couldn't have picked a worse time. The ol' propane is getting sucked down, at $2.00 here.

Back in the 1970's, early 1980's when I hauled LP gas, it was normal for people to use a full tank of LP in a month. I had a country church that had an old coal furnace converted to LP Gas. I had to fill that 500 gallon tank every 2.5 weeks. In 1985 I stopped to fill it on schedule and they still had 3/4 of a tank full. I stopped the following week and they did not need any gas. I had a key to the church on my key ring, opened the door went down the 4 steps into the furnace room and there were 2 new high efficiency furnaces. They saved the church about 550-600 gallons per month.

LP gas price is $1.30 per gallon delivered here today. Gonna stop in tomorrow and pay for some, if the darn wind doesn't blow old shameless white crap into drifting the roads shut.
