I have acquired a well-used gas line for my D14. It needs to be reshaped to fit properly. I'm wondering if anyone could provide an accurate drawing that shows the lines twists and turns. I've looked at the line shown in the parts manual - it doesn't provide much detail. Also, I assume that the line passes behind the air cleaner; is this correct?

Thanks very much!

Dave I'll take a picture of the gas line on my D 14 tomorrow, and post it.    Tim

So I took the oil cup off. I still haven't painted that gas line yet.  Tim

Thanks, Tim. I think I need to rotate the sediment bowl 90* to reduce the sharpness of the bends in the line. Will have a look tomorrow.

Was able to look at the D14 today. The sediment bowl needs to rotate 180* so the gas line will run behind the side panel. The panel will have to come off - one of my least favorite things on that tractor! I'll make a list of a few tweaks that can be done with that off and get to it once the weather warms up a bit.

there's at least 2 styles of sediment bowls, one has outlet 90* from the other one..I've got both on my D-14s so I can't say which is 'officially' correct.

Good point on the different sediment bowl styles. Will have to check that before I get too deep into this.

Okay! Today I pulled the side panel so I could rotate the sediment bowl and adjust the hood latch. After getting that done, I routed the line as shown in Tim's pictures and tightened both ends of the line. No leaks! She fired right up. Thanks for the help.
