Just doing some daydream engineering, and have a question. Would there be a problem problem with 2 cylinders teed into the same valve with one pushing (extending) and one pulling (retracting) at the same time. Say for rotating a blade. I know there will be a different amount of fluid displacement.

Assuming they are both double-acting cylinders, and they have a similar setup for the opposote direction, there should be no problem at all.

The force developed would be the sum of the two forces developed by each. Since the one pulling has less area(because of the rod), its force is less.

I have seen some FWA steering setups this way.

It works, but try to bleed all the air from the crossover hose and that side of the cylinders.

Thanks guys. I knew I was over thinking this. Crazy part is I was running our compactor at work, which has articulated steering, while I was pondering this.
