I am about to change fluid in my 720. I need to locate the drain plug for the hdy. I have the filter. How much fluid do I need to have to replace it with, and the correct type

remove the bottom cover off the tractor (i think 8 bolts ) (if its still there)

at the front bottom of the trans. you'll see a steel tube with a rubber hoes on it, you can remove the hose and unthread the fitting the stand pipe is about 4 inches long when you take it out. you can also remove the trans. temp. sender to help drain, you can jack the back of the tractor up to help in draining.

fluid is: ATF dexron

about 6 qts.
