Hi guys, the supports for the fenders on the 170 & 175 are short and the fender supports for the 180 & 185 have a long tail on them. Why is this tail there and what is it for?

The platform and battery box bolt to the fender brackets on a 180/185.

I found some pics and I have to thank DanD from WI for his. It shows the point sticking out toward the front and holding the foot panel up. THANKS Dan!!
