Has anyone ever changed the rear wheel seals on a 6070 Allis Chalmers my concern is if I just pull the axle housing assembly off the rear housing would there be anything that might fall off of the end of the axle, such as a gear , brake pads etc.

Been 10 plus years but don’t remember it being a bad project. Allis service manual made it go good.
