Prayers work!!! I was diagnosed with Lymphoma on Nov 1st and it has really weaken me, but I am coming back. Thank you for all the prayers and I humbly ask that they continue as I have a long way to go yet. Had a very good report on my Lymphoma while in Rochester last week. I had a PET scan on Thursday, Jan 3rd. A Pet scan is an imaging test that uses a special dye with radioactive tracers which make the cancer cells show up as red. With great anticipation we met with the Doctor Friday, Jan 4th to get the results and he was thrilled as the PET scan shows very little cancer remaining. The doctor said this looks very good and right where they want me to be after 2 Chemo treatments. I received another Chemo treatment Friday and now have 3 more to go; these will hopefully clear up the rest of the cancer. I have also gained about 15 lbs from my low of 120 lbs on November 10th; I would like to put back about another 15-20 lbs. I know God is watching over all of us and if it is His will, He will help me and my doctors beat this. I keep in mind my favorite Bible verse, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
I also cannot thank my wife, Juleen, for being at my side and helping me through all of this. The two pictures are how much things have changed. The top picture was when I was 120 lbs and very weak and the one on the right was about 2 weeks ago.
