I have a 8050 PD with less than 4000 hours and has been well cared for and maintained.  I have had it a few years and last year I started having problems with the tractor not wanting to shift up on the go.  If I hold the lever up on the steering column and clutch it real(half way down) quick a few times it will shift up.  Now that doesn't work.  I replaced the hand switch on the steering column plus the big fuse on the fuse block with no success.  Transmission and hydraulic fluid levels are fine.  Any thoughts out there??

The switch on the clutch pedal could cause that problem...if it malfunctions you will only be in low.

Along with if anything related to the clutch pedal linkage under the instrument panel is dry and sticky, that will not allow the switch to be depressed and therefore no upshift. The clutch pedal has to come up 100% to trip that switch.

Adjust the switch above clutch pedal or clutch pedal spring is not pulling pedal up all the way up.      MACk

It was the switch.  Nut came loose on switch and no contact was being made by clutch.  The plunger moves freely in and out on the switch.  Still lubed it up and lined up the switch where when clutch fully depressed the plunger goes all the way in!  Clutch linkage and movement appears perfect.  Thanks guys!
