| There is a spring clamp and they are supposed to slide off. Most I have done the plastic ones have broken when trying to get them to slide off. Plastic gets old and brittle. |

| That ap air set up looks good. Mine is just spinning the wrong way I think I’ll just try reversing the polarity. Kinda thought the plastic wheels would be hard to remove thanks |

LB0442 What is the insulation you have used under cab roof? How hard is blower assembly to get out? The blower in my 7010 is noisy and doesn't work on low ------------- 170 W/FEL, 7010 PD, 8030 FWA PS |

It is house insulation, I think originally for water heaters. I have a roll that is about 4 ft tall, had it for years. I first got it for some old cars I have. Really works good for behind the door panels, quiets them down. The old foam in the tractors is pretty much useless now. This is nice because it doesn't absorb the dust. I had to use 2 layers of it on the cab top as 1 just wasn't enough to cover the top of the evaporator. You need to make sure the airflow goes through the evaporator not around it. Had to go through my pictures and see what I had for that blower. This is the only 1 I have of it out. It can be a challenge to get it out, It sets in a cradle that I pulled out. I think three 1/4 bolts by the vents in the cab and then they are 1/4 bolts that hold it to the evaporator housing in the top of the cab. Just about guarantee that at least 1 of them will be rusted in. Pull that assembly out then unbolt the old center motor from that plate. Possibly you may be able to get the motor bolts out without pulling that plate by going through the holes where the vents are, I can't remember. I pulled everything out on this one to clean it. I don't think I had to drill new holes for the new fan, they have it set up to bolt in. |
