Hi All!

So there's a gentleman  down the road about oh... four miles from me, has an HD-5 that he'll be selling sometime in the future.

He's worked on the transmission (clutches and seals), and put a new starter on around last run time, which was probably 3-4 years ago.  It's got a loader bucket and 4 tooth ripper mounted.

Tracks look pretty good by my (non-expert on these) eyes... sprockets don't have ugly wear that I see anyway...  well kept and covered.

I'd love to have it, but my wife would certainly kill me... and if my budget were strong enough to allow me to HAVE it, I'd be driving it down the country roads to ge it to my place.

Any clue what these things generally would demand in a not-recently, but probably-not-hard-to-revive condition?

I paid $2500 when I bought mine several years ago, but it didn't have the ripper on the back. it did have a drawbar. it was also a track loader diesel. did everything I needed to do with it then re-sold it on a consignment sale, it brought $3500.
