Looking for some help with parts I am having trouble locating. I need a gasket between trans and hand clutch housing and the vertical steering shaft bearing/race for a tricycle front. I have Hyatt bearing numbers but didn't have any luck that route.
Thanks.

Agco dealer should have them. I've gotten that gasket from my local dealer a couple of times. The bearing and race I've not bought but would think they would have too.

Central Iowa Farm Store, Marshalltown Ia. 641-753-3996. Talk to Reed or Matt in parts. These guys both have WDs and know what you are talking about.

Coultrain63, Nice to see someone with fresh PO#1 on tractor parts! Welcome to the forum. I have the vertical shaft bearing part numbers somewhere in my WD45 thread. These are not the original barrel type. But I think they should work OK. I bought them from KAMAN. Sounds like you have a local source mentioned above. We need some pictures of the rest of your project.
Your paint looks awesome! Love final paint! By the way are you replacing the bearings and races on each side of the worm gear?
Regards, Chris

I think theses may be the bearings I used. Not sure I have so many pictures of bearings? Top seal doesnt look right? Looks too small?
Another supplier would be Sandy Lake if you run out of leads. Regards, Chris

Great shop and the WD is coming right along! Thanks for posting these. You should be able to post more than one one picture at a time too, so not sure why you cant? Sandy Lake and or other AC parts folks on here should be able to provide that gasket. BTW I am going to need one sometime soon also. I am going to try to get mine split in the next few weeks. What are you using for primer and paint? It looks good! Regards, Chris

that gasket doesn't look that complex. get a sheet of gasket material and ballpeen out your own gasket.

Best I can find on DJs tractor parts is a hand clutch shaft seal, but don't see a gasket.
Don't forget there's two cork gaskets that go in the spindle as well I think. I saw sugarmaker repair his the other day and was looking at buying some for my own tractor.
Also that WD looks pretty fantastic; great job so far!

I thought about making a gasket but if the thickness isn't right i'm afraid the lash on the bearings wont be right.
Not sure what you mean by corks on the spindle.
Thanks

These are the two cork gaskets related to the pedestal from what I can tell:
https://stores.djstractorparts.com/allis-chalmers-front-tricycle-upper-spindle-shaft-seal-wd-wd45-wd45d-70202102/" rel="nofollow - https://stores.djstractorparts.com/allis-chalmers-front-tricycle-upper-spindle-shaft-seal-wd-wd45-wd45d-70202102/
https://stores.djstractorparts.com/allis-chalmers-wc-wd-wd45-front-pedestal-lower-spindle-shaft-seal-70202101/" rel="nofollow - https://stores.djstractorparts.com/allis-chalmers-wc-wd-wd45-front-pedestal-lower-spindle-shaft-seal-70202101/
Maybe these are part of the steering assembly and not the pedestal itself though... I haven't torn into mind yet as I am trying to figure out what parts I need. Here's sugarmaker's relevant post from his "WD45 next? YES!" thread.
Sugarmaker wrote:
Ok It was a slow day.Heres a shot of the old WD that I put in storage, guess I needed a picture of a complete tractor!:):
Worked on the WD45 front pedestal assembly: Installed the front expansion plug. SM says apply some sealer, I used gray silicone. It
doesnt say that you need to put it in with the concave side towards the
front and then gently flatten it out from the back to seal against the
sides:
Next was the new bearing race in the bearing cage:
Then the race in the front of the perdestal:
Then the new cork seals and retainer:
Dont forget the spacer that goes between the worm and the back bearing.
Bearing installed on the front of the worm. Grease to be applied.
Now
to install the spacer and back bearing, on the steering shaft, and
begin assembly. Also a shim/s in there too! (page 57 in your manual) Feels good to be assembling finally! Regards, Chris

Folks, Make sure were are talking about the same parts. I am sure not a expert here. On the large vertical spindle in a narrow front there are two seals. I used lip seals for these. The two small 7/8 I.D. cork seals in my pictures are the ones at the back of the pedestal on the horizontal shaft turning the worm gear. Regards, Chris

Also what did you find for vertical spindle bearing? Wish mine was that far along! its a lot of moves to get them old WD's to look that good! Regards, Chris

This is from a response I gave about a WD45 decal question back in 2010. My tractor is a WD and these pics are from my WD.
The fill battery decal goes on the outside of the left side of battery box. About 1 inch or so from the top and centered front to back. The electrical diagram decal goes on the inside of the top battery box cover. Keep lever down goes on the little flat area on the quadrants left side by the hydraulic lever. Power Crater goes on the left side, lower rear of the engine block (going from memory on the power crater as my WD doesn't have that one). The Snap Coupler goes on the left side of the Snap Coupler bell under the tractor situated on the top half and somewhat centered. The tire one (there should be 2) go on each left wheel anywhere on the smooth face of the rim and somewhat centered. The grease joint goes on the steering shaft itself with the decal starting about even with the top of side frame and going up from there running lengthways on the shaft. And the shutters one goes about 1 inch below the hole for the shutter control handle on the front right side of the grill shell and centered with the hole. If your 45 didn't come with a distillate engine then you won't have this hole I believe. Hope I made sense. Here are pictures
This is the battery fill This shows the inside of the battery lid w/ electrical diagram This is where I believe the power crater goes I forgot to get a picture of the snap couple but I think my description show work
Front left wheel I couldn't get a good shot of the rear left but this is where it goes if this were the left wheel Here are some others This is supposed to be centered on the box but in an original film I spotted one that was off center so I put it off center to copy the one on the film this is the patent numbers on the right hand side under fuel tank

Not sure that the Be Careful decals were part of the original WD decals but it's what Wacker Decals gave me several years ago. Sorry about the dumb photobucket watermarks as photobucket claims my photos belong to them.
