  Howdy,
Those rear sectional weights I bought for my one seventy, well the weights fit right on top the wheel studs!! Plus now they stick out from the center rim. Stud holding them out the thickness of the stud head! I got 28 rims are this for 38 rims maybe?

  Thanks Kurzy

What's the AM number on your weights. They had 2 different styles of pie weights for the 28" rim, one for the Wd45/Early D17 eccentric, one for the Series 4, 170, 180 eccentric. Sounds like you have the early style.

    Howdy orange knight,
There are no numbers on these weights. These were the weights with all that sl*g on them. Earlier post that I put on this forum.

   Howdy bradley6874,
Thats good to know 4 weights on 28 rims. I have original manuals and dont show off set bolts. Earlier post suggest wrong weights for the year.

Thanks Kurzy

Did you go to the knowledge base section and look at the weights section and look at the pictures and see if they look anything like those

   Howdy Mikez,
They look like but just dont fit the way they should. They should not cover the wheel stud.

  Thanks Kurzy

They should cover the 8 wheel center to axle bolt heads if they are the correct weights. They should also allow you access to change the wheel tread nuts and rail clamps.  An old D-17 rear wheel weight interchange with a WD45. A series 3 and newer D-17 interchange with a One-Seventy and the rear wheel centers are different between those generations of tractors.

   Howdy DrAllis,
This tractor is a 1967 One Seventy. So being the newer then the D17 the 8 wheel studs should not be cover? Right now the weights rest on top the studs holding the weight away from the center rim and sure does not look right. Big gap for dirt to fill in. These are 4 sectional weights.

  Thanks Kurzy

I'm trying to tell you the weights will cover the 8 center bolt heads, YES !!! You should be able to spin the wheels in and out on the rails without removing the weights. They do stick out from the wheel center. That's what rear wheel weights do.

   Howdy DrAllis,
I know weights stick out from the wheel but these weights lean out ! Tight where bolt holds to center but 1/2 inch out by stud. I can put my fingers in behind weight by wheel studs. You can see where they should hug center rim.

Thanks Kurzy

   Howdy,
After much searching and figuring I finally solved the problem! In the picture where the stud meets the weight, that material should be back the thickness of the stud head. That would free up the weight to fit snug up to the steel wheel center. No gap and fit like it should! If you go on the Knowledge Base under weights go to weight # Am 4483-1 you will see much more material carved out so weight can get snug against steel center. Now go to Am 4493 and you will see smaller amount of material carved out. That's my problem, so the weight hangs out like it don't belong. And the weights only cover 4 of the studs not 8! So yes I was sold the wrong weights for this tractor. First time I ever covered studs with weights and first time for no numbers on weights!!
