Here's an image of where the block heaters usually are.  I am not sure all blocks have the same freeze plug and bolt holes in the water jacket.  My 7000's 301 is in the rear-most freeze plug/flange.  This one is in the center.

So take out the freeze plug and put in the heater? I found a new AGCO block heater on ebay and ordered it so I guess I'll see when it gets here.

Make sure you have the tapped holes if you are using the one that has the bolt-on flange.  If it doesn't have 2 threaded holes, you can use one that will fit into the freeze plug and tightens using a screw through the center and a wing on the back to pull it tight.
