Here is what I got. My B has a starter solenoid and push button start. It is still 6v. This is the one that I sleeved the front crank. It was starting ok all day. It never did start real smooth. When I went to start it the last time the solenoid would just buzz. I put a charger on it and the battery said 6.26v. Tried jumping the solenoid same deal. Decided to pull it as I had to move it out of the way. The engine won't move. Rear wheels just locked. If the starter doesn't disengage will it prevent the engine from turning over? I can't get the starter mounting bolt to free up. Any suggestions? Help!! (swore at my wife for pulling to fast, another mistake)

Sounds like the starter is locked to the ring gear. You will have to get the bolt out and the starter out to free up the tractor.

Put in third gear and bump pull it backwards. Quick little jerks.

My Grandfather's Farmall H would lock up all the time. He would put it in 5th and push on the rear tire to unlock it. He was a bull of a man and the H has a taller high gear which made it a might easier than your tractor to push backward to unlock it. My Oliver 77 locks up every now and then and I hook a chain on the back with it in 6th. I have never had to remove the starter.

Hey I just went out and put it in third and rocked it back. The starter did work. I hope that was it. I think I will try to remove the starter at some time. Thanks

Mike, take the starter out and spray the starter bendix with brake cleaner and get it really loosened up.  It SHOULD give you many years of care free service after that.
They get gummed up and won't slide easily after a time.  Have had it happen enough times.
Did you get your wheel eccentrics figured out?

Ted I got the wheels all figured out. I think I am good on that end. Still gotta come and see you at your cabin sometime. Maybe breakfast again!
