The ole girl has had a good year mowing for us. Upgrading to tiger teeth knives has been a huge help in blade hay. This was a mixed grass field but we mainly switched because of the orchard grass fields we planted last year. Not only does it cut much cleaner but speed has picked up as well as you can see in the video. Charlie and our brother Jim did a great job completing the changing over. Everything got adjusted per the owners manual. She is much quieter when running.

Not bad for an old unit, 1972 I thinK?
Gets the job done, just doesn't like wallowed down hay.

Yep, the 6060 is a nice tractor to use. Just the right size.

Charlie doesn’t like using my factory straight pipe XT....lol,,too hard on the ears which is why ear plugs are in the tool box. Both tractors do well with the haybine, 6060 is easier on the ears I will admit.

Oh I like the 190, someone left it hooked to the corn planter...easier to grab the 6060 :)

Lol litttle brother...I’m guilty. Didnt take the time after I cleaned it. Or did I purposely leave it hooked up so you wouldn’t use it?

Evidently the 6060 makes some noise too. I noticed the ear muffs, or was they head phones? Dad never would let me listen to music while driving tractors. He said if anything broke I wouldn't hear it. I still won't do it today.

Nice videos and machines, thanks for sharing.

I have started to get hard of hearing, probably too late, but I have resorted to using ear protection when operating machinery. Even lawn mowers.

Charlie,
Great videos of the hay cutting and the tractor and mowing. I assume that's second cutting? Ear protection is appropriate too!
Thanks for posting these. Beautiful property you have too! Hope you had good weather to make this into hay!
Regards,
Chris

Second cutting on this field. Weather came in perfect after weeks of rain.
