So I ran across a guy selling a C, a belly mounted sickle mower, and cultivator for a C. Tractor would take too much work, but almost 2 new rear tires. Didn't actually see the cultivator, too much overgrowth to get to it, but he said its almost complete. But I'm thinking about the sickle mower. Its not on the tractor, but he says it was. And complete. I'd like to know how it mounts. Does anyone have any pics of one installed?

Ahhh... good old youtube. Why didn't I think of that??

It shows how it bolts to the curved rear hitch of a C, I wonder if it bolts to the style of hitch on a CA?

I'd grab ALL of it in a heartbeat , if the price was fair. The trator sounds like a GREAT parts unit and the mower is a nobrainer with cultivators being easy to resell.
I'm sure others will respond with how to install onto CA.

Mounting B/C mower onto a CA tractor will require lots of fabrication skills as well as modifications to the rear drive. The B/C mower has a very large single belt drive in which the PTO pulley will not clear the CA hydraulic pump. If you’re looking for a mower to mount onto a CA tractor, you need to find a #5 mower which replaced the B/C mower and has smaller pullies and twin belt drive at the rear. It also requires a special rear bar that attaches to the lowered lift arms along with a few othe pieces that are unique to mounting it on a CA. Mounting a #5 mower onto a B or C tractor is the same as mounting a B/C mower on the B & C tractors

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

That’s exactly what I needed to know. I was wondering if that PTO pulley would clear that pump. I so appreciate the wisdom of the members here. A belly mower would be fun, but making one fit wouldn’t be.
